Sintered components

Use of ceramics provides the right conditions for uniform firing and thus optimum product qualities

Our kiln furniture and settler plates are used to arrange and stabilize blanks during the sintering process. Use of ceramics provides the right conditions for uniform firing and thus optimum product qualities.

The high mechanical stability of ceramics in combination with excellent temperature resistance enables the development of thin, lightweight and space-saving kiln furniture. The low volume of the firing support as well as high thermal conductivity results in a homogeneous heat distribution throughout sintered components in addition to increased energy efficiency because of reduced kiln ballast. Rapid heating and cooling as well as an operating temperature of 1000°C/1832°F are no problem.

Another advantage of QSIL's ceramic kiln furniture and settler plates is the high surface quality. Optimum sliding of the molded parts as well as protection against contamination from the out of the firing plate is ensured by ceramics inert properties which results in a lack of contact reaction with metals. Due to the absence of release agents and protective layers, the sintered bases are particularly durable and require no reprocessing.

Made to customer specifications - suitable for any kiln.
