AK 40 ceramic (Porous and foam)

Defined porosity - used to filter liquids or as a catalyst

The foam ceramic has a low Al₂O₃ content compared to AK99.7S. Due to the defined porosity, this porous ceramic also has the possibility to filter liquids in fluid technology or to be used as a catalyst due to the significantly increased surface. In addition, the porous structure reduces possible thermal shock as well as weight. Furthermore, this material is well suited for high temperature insulation.
