Silicon carbide SC-EC(electrically conductive SiC)
Electrically semiconducting material with several resistance gradations
Silicon carbide is normally an electrically semiconducting material (105 - 107 Ohm*cm). By adding electrically conductive second phases however, the electrical resistance can be shifted into ranges that are necessary for applications such as heaters and electrical components - or else make electroerosive machining possible. Various customer requests have led us to offering several conductivity or resistance gradations between 102 and 10-3 Ohm*cm.
