SN-HT

Extreme high temperature and creep resistance as well as oxidation and corrosion resistance - applications for turbines and turbochargers

The special Si3N4 variant "SN-HT" was developed with the aim of offering a material with extreme high temperature and creep resistance. Possible applications include turbochargers with particularly good response characteristics and high rotational speeds, range-extender turbines, and gas turbine construction. Furthermore, due to robust oxidation and corrosion resistance as well as high chemical purity, SN-HT represents a material alternative to SN-PU for particularly challenging applications.
