Conveying of aluminium or non-ferrous smelting

Ceramic risers enable the conveying of melts or chemical substances. The main application area so far is the conveying of aluminium or non-ferrous smelting in al-foundry technology by means of silicon nitride risers, which due to their high strength, high-temperature and thermal shock resistance as well as the advantageous wetting capacity have a particularly long service life. To promote corrosive media, however, riser tubes can also be made of silicon carbide.
