High corrosive- and temperature-resistance

Ceramic gears can be used for a wide range of applications in which metallic or polymeric materials reach their limits caused by the corrosion, abrasion and high temperatures.

Pumps with such gear have high corrosive-resistance and temperature-resistance which can be used in the chemical industry and for construction of special machines. Due to the low thermal expansion of silicon nitride and carbide, it is possible to achieve a constant conveying rate even at high temperatures, for example. This is accessible because the axis distance and pump characteristic always remain the same.

In foundry technology, on the other hand, silicon nitride gears can be used in dosing and conveying pumps for aluminum and non-ferrous metal melts.
