Submersible heating pipes

High strength, high-temperature and thermal shock resistance

Due to their high strength, high-temperature and thermal shock resistance as well as the advantageous wetting behavior against aluminium or non-ferrous melts, immersion heating pipes made of silicon nitride are suitable for heating and/or keeping warm in the foundry technique.
Alternatively the use of silicon nitride-based heating pipes is possible in heat treatment technology or in chemical plant construction, for example it can be used while heating strong acids or alkalis.
The heating of melt or liquid takes place without contact and contamination via a gas burner or resistance heater which are installed inside the immerse heater.
With the largest immersive heating pipes we manufacture, up to 80 kW of heating capacity per pipe can be inserted into aluminum smelting.
